The surroundings were so relaxing, and I loved being able to see a variety of animals on the property. the room had everything we needed for a comfortable self-catering holiday. the pool/braai/porch area was a great place to chill and enjoy the beautiful city lights at night. the staff were all friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and at ease. Not the best location, but we never felt unsafe.
the double bed in our room was just two singles pushed together, which made it impossible to get close to each other. Definitely not recommended for couples wanting some cuddle time.

As a light sleeper, I loved the peaceful and quiet environment at Saxenburg Wine Farm. the facilities were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a restful night's sleep. the staff at the gate were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right from the start. the heritage cottage was charming and cozy, with a stunning bathroom and access to a pool. the verandah provided a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. the bonus of having a restaurant on the grounds was a great convenience. the staff's warm and welcoming attitude, along with the tranquil ambiance, made our stay a delightful experience.

Convenient location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and delicious continental breakfast. The maid, maintenance man, and security attendants were attentive and helpful. The peaceful atmosphere and clean facilities made for a lovely getaway. Would definitely return, despite its close proximity to my home.

My husband and I recently stayed at Saxenburg Wine Farm for one night to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We wanted a quick getaway close to home, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and tranquility of our stay. The surrounding area was peaceful, and we enjoyed spotting a variety of animals such as zebras, bucks, horses, and cows. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and everything we needed for our stay was provided. The fireplace in our room created a lovely ambiance. We were impressed by the efforts of the maid, maintenance man, and gate and security attendants. We would definitely visit Saxenburg Wine Farm again, despite its close proximity to our home.
